Steven Pivnik
CEO
Since its establishment in 1993, Steven Pivnik has served at the helm of Binary Tree as CEO. Under Mr. Pivnik‘s leadership, Binary Tree has significantly expanded its business globally, establishing itself as a leader in the messaging and collaboration market, with its focus not only in Lotus Notes & Domino, but also in the Microsoft and Google arenas. Mr. Pivnik‘s experience expands over 20 years in the technology business. Mr. Pivnik has been featured as a finalist for many awards like the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year or the INC. Entrepreneur of the Year. Mr. Pivnik is currently active in industry affairs and Co-Author of several IBM Red Books. |

Henry Bestritsky
Co-CEO
Together with Steven Pivnik, Henry Bestritsky is responsible for the start-up and establishment of Binary Tree. Today, Mr. Bestritsky’s responsibilities focus on generating and implementing Binary Tree’s market and business strategy. Under Mr. Bestritsky’s direction, Binary Tree has enhanced the company’s overall service offerings, including PMO (Project Management Office) and Binary Tree’s consulting services division. Mr. Bestritsky is a well-respected technology leader, actively engaged in many trade associations and is also Binary Tree’s driving force on the Microsoft Competitive Steering Committee. Mr. Bestritsky is the author of many articles in various trade publications and continues to be a sought-after presenter and tutor for many seminars and discussion groups in numerous technological associations. |

James Scott
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Scott has over 20 years of experience as a senior level financial manager. He joined Binary Tree in January 2008 after serving as Interim CFO for V12Group and for 7 years prior as CFO for ExpertPlan. Prior to that Mr. Scott was Managing Director of theCFO.com LLC, providing CFO services to numerous companies. Mr. Scott was also CFO of VLearn International and VP of Finance and Administration for TAS (Spirent Communications Wireless Division). He has a BA in Economics from Rutgers College and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers Business School. He is a Certified Management Accountant and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants. |

Vadim Gringolts
Chief Technology Officer
Vadim Gringolts is Binary Tree’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and is responsible for defining, developing and delivering Binary Tree’s messaging & migration products strategy, overseeing product development and implementation services. Vadim has over 20 years of experience working in the messaging industry and 10 years of involvement with Lotus Notes and Domino and virtually every other messaging system and protocol. Having begun his career developing gateways to connect dissimilar mail systems, Mr. Gringolts transitioned to product implementation, system architecture and high level messaging and migration consulting for a wide variety of customers from Fortune 500 companies to small organizations. Mr. Gringolts is an author of many articles in the migration & messaging arena and over the years has been a frequent speaker at industry-related conferences such as EMA and Lotusphere. |

Gayle Heskiel
Chief Operations Officer
As Chief Operations Officer, Gayle Heskiel is responsible for ensuring that all business operations at Binary Tree are efficient and effective. Her responsibilities span several critical areas within Binary Tree including: Operations management and strategy, Consulting services management and Human resources. Ms. Heskiel works closely with our Co-CEOs to develop and implement long-term strategy and ensure the organization achieves its goals and objectives. She is also responsible for the design, operation and improvement of the internal systems that support Binary Tree's day to day activities. Ms. Heskiel established Binary Tree’s Project Management Office (PMO) and currently oversees its activities. The PMO is focused on defining best practices, formalizing business processes and maximizing the value delivered to customers. Ms. Heskiel directly manages the Binary Tree consulting services, infrastructure and administration teams and directs the human resources function within Binary Tree including, HR policy and procedure development, management of employee benefits, and recruitment and retention of staff. Ms. Heskiel has over 16 years of hands-on experience in IT project and practice management. Her experience assists Binary Tree in continuing to maintain high standards of product quality, operations and reliability. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management. |

Stefan af Bjur
General Manager, EMEA
In his most recent role before joining Binary Tree, Stefan was part of the Microsoft’s worldwide IBM-, Google- and Open Office Compete team based out of corporate headquarters in Redmond, Washington, where his main responsibility was to help Microsoft win deals but also to educate and influence customers, partners and sales resources around the world. Stefan joined Microsoft in June 2005 as part of an acquisition and his previous Microsoft role was mainly focused on mail and collaboration security. His working career spans over a multitude of roles including programming, support, project management, sales, marketing and management but they all have one common denominator: Notes/Domino. In this area, Stefan was the first certified Notes consultant in Sweden (1991), co-founded two companies and most recently - before joining Microsoft - held the role as EMEA Manager for Lotus Products for Sybari. |

Steve Mullen
Director of Product Development
Mr. Steve Mullen comes to Binary Tree after a long and successful career as a technical expert on IBM’s Lotus Notes & Domino. Most recently, Mr. Mullen worked for IBM's Lotus Notes and Domino development organization as Program Director of the Notes Client Development Team. His primary focus was to lead efforts to modify the Notes client for the Notes 8 launch.
Steve’s expertise in writing debugging tools got him noticed by Iris and he transferred over to the Iris development team in 1994. Steve spent the next 8 years in the maintenance team, debugging customer problems, managing the development and test teams and releasing quarterly maintenance releases.
As Director of Development at Binary Tree, Steve is responsible for leading development efforts to meet the never-ending demand of the messaging and collaboration market. Steve focuses on managing various development team projects and is responsible for creating an internal development methodology that scales to the increasing product scope of Binary Tree software offerings. |

Carl Baumann
Director of Sales
Carl Baumann, Director of Sales, joined Binary Tree in 1998. Across the course of his tenure with Binary Tree, Carl has spearheaded the development of the Binary Tree partner channel, as well as the creation and execution of the Binary Tree client engagement process, resulting in continuous year-over-year growth in sales of Binary Tree offerings for messaging migration software, coexistence solutions and services to/from IBM Lotus, Microsoft Exchange and Novell GroupWise. Carl was also very influential in Binary Tree's three Lotus Industry Awards for Best Messaging Solution, which were awarded in 2001 and 2004, and the much-heralded Lotus CTO Award in 2003. Binary Tree's partner channel expanded internationally under Carl's management, providing an effective and efficient global footprint to the Binary Tree sales and delivery engagement model. Carl was also instrumental in the creation of both IBM Redbooks covering the topic of Migrating from Microsoft Exchange, as well as Tim Speeds' publication, "Internet Security: A Jumpstart for Systems Administrators and IT Managers". Carl holds a Bachelor of Science from La Salle University in Philadelphia majoring in Marketing and minoring in both International Business and Spanish. In addition, Carl holds a Masters degree in E-Commerce and Technology Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology.

Director of Alliances and Business Development
Traci Blowers, Director of Alliances & Business Development, hunts new strategic opportunities, while creating channels to accommodate incremental development. Her tactical focus includes strategic vendor relationships and the Binary Tree Partner Channel. Twelve years of inside and field experience at Ingram Micro underscores Traci's channel-centric perspective, where she held positions that ranged from sales, sales management, business development and vendor market development. Traci joined the Binary Tree team in 2005, and holds an MBA from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, and a BA in International Relations with a minor in Japanese from Boston University. |

Dan Alsip
Director of Marketing
Dan Alsip joined Binary Tree in September of 2008 bringing with him over 20 years of experience in business-to-business technology marketing communications. Dan’s skills in brand communications, demand generation, and sales enablement have been influential in the success of software companies, hardware manufacturers, and systems integrators and include companies that have been acquired by the likes of Motorola, Cisco, and Xerox. Dan has received multiple corporate awards for excellence in marketing communications, has authored a number of white papers including one that was awarded with a Bitpipe 2004 White Paper Award, and has been instrumental in positive media coverage in IT publications that include InfoWorld, Application Development Trends, and Windows IT Pro. |
